Designed in partnership with Vivian Cho and Xenia Capcan, this product was made for DES 371 Interface Design and was my first intensive experience designing a mobile application. We were given roughly 10 weeks to go through the entire design process. We used Figma for the application design and Adobe After Effects to produce the video.
I primarily worked on the base for the onboarding flow and previous entries flow. Later, the whole group worked on all of the flows for consistency. I also focused on prototyping and motion within Figma in order to create the final product. You can see our key flows below.
Onboarding
A guided onboarding process takes the user through what the goals of the app are and how it works.
Dashboard
The main button on the dashboard highlights the main action we want users to take. This is the main use for our app: Keeping track of their yoga journey.
Awards
When the user makes entries, they can earn "pup badges". This is the award system we created for the app. They can view the awards earned and how they are progressing on new goals.
Previous Entries
After you create an entry, the user can go back and see all of their previous entries with fun insights that help them keep track of their progress!
Profile
The profile section allows the user to see all of their data in one place. This serves as the main summary page for their journey. They can also personalize it by selecting one of their "pup badges" as their icon!
Apple Watch
As a bonus, we also created a companion Apple Watch flow. This feature only has two functions: a timer and the ability to see some quick stats.
